It’s just one day, but it’s a special day for mothers. Considering all that she does for us we should add a lot more special days of thankfulness for her. She steadfastly endures everything for us, good or bad, happy or sad. Through it all her love for her children does not fade nor diminish. She is a mother, she is God’s perfect gift to children. It is for this day that we try to find the perfect gift to show our love and appreciation. Sometimes we find just the right one, sometimes we miss the mark completely, but she would never tell us. From my experience the perfect gift for Mother’s Day and every day for that matter, is a big hug and a warm loving whisper, “I love you.”
